The Lean Six Sigma Company Portugal

Henrique is Partner & CEO of The Lean Six Sigma Company Portugal. He combines the executive management of the company, with the role of Senior Trainer and Coach.

Henrique holds a master’s degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Nova School of Science and Technology, and a Post- Graduation in Operations Management from Porto Business School.

He holds Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he is also a certified Prince2 Project Manager and certified Change Manager. During his professional career, Henrique has worked in the pharmaceutical industry both in Portugal and in UK. He also worked as a Senior Operations Consultant in Lean Six Sigma and he was Program Manager at BNP Paribas, leading a Continuous Improvement Program for more than 5000 people.

Helena Navas

Assistant Professor & Researcher at NOVA FCT

Helena is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at NOVA School of Science and Technology and a researcher at UNIDEMI – Unidade de Investigação e Desenvolvimento em Engenharia Mecânica e Industrial.

She holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from NOVA FCT and a Master’s degree in Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance and Quality from NOVA FCT.

Helena is a Lean Leader and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Manufacturing for The Lean Six Sigma Company.

She is a researcher, consultant and trainer in Innovation, Systematic Innovation, TRIZ Methodology, Lean and Continuous Improvement. Helena Navas has been a guest speaker at various seminars, round tables and events dedicated to innovation. She is a columnist for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Newsletter.
