Digital Innovation Management and Disruption
Overview

History shows that the most successful organizations are rarely those that have the most resources. They are those that are able to anticipate changes, interpret emerging signals, and transform innovation into new business opportunities.

Today, Artificial Intelligence, advanced computing, automation, and data are causing a new wave of economic and business disruption. Entire sectors are being redefined, new competitors emerge unexpectedly, and innovation cycles are becoming increasingly shorter.

In this context, innovation ceases to be an isolated function and becomes a strategic capability of the organization. The question is no longer whether change will happen, but rather how to create value from it.

For organizations in the Azores, digital transformation represents a unique opportunity to overcome geographical constraints, increase competitiveness, create new business models, and access global markets. Emerging technologies today allow companies of any size to innovate, grow, and create value in ways that were unthinkable just a few years ago.
