Paulina Faria

Associate Professor at NOVA FCT

She is a Civil Engineer, Master in Construction and PhD in Building Heritage Rehabilitation.

After having been a researcher at the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering and a lecturer at Instituto Superior Técnico, she is an Associate Professor at NOVA School of Science and Technology at NOVA University Lisbon (NOVA FCT), where she coordinated the Master in Building Rehabilitation, and a researcher at CERIS – Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability.

She was Editor of the Journal of Building Engineering and is a member of ICOMOS and of the Development Advisory Committee of RILEM.

She has supervised more than 100 master’s and doctoral theses. She coordinates and participates in several research and pedagogical projects. She coordinated the Guide to Sustainable Construction in Tourist and Hospitality Facilities, made available by Turismo de Portugal.
