He holds an MBA in Digital Transformation and the Future of Business from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, a postgraduate degree in Sales Management from IPAM, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics and Information Systems from ISEC – Instituto Superior de Educação e Ciências.

With a solid career as a senior digital transformation and global business consultant, he brings over two decades of leadership and operational experience. He has held prominent roles in high-growth multinational companies such as IBM and CGI, and has contributed to international projects across multiple continents.

Ricardo Artur Ribeiro

Director of Digital Transformation at Montepio Crédito

Ricardo Artur Ribeiro is a guest lecturer at various business schools in Executive Education programs, teaching subjects such as financial technology (fintech), blockchain, and the Internet of Things. He holds a degree in Marketing Management and an International MBA from Católica Porto Business School.

In recent years, he has deepened his expertise in technology applied to financial services through specializations in Fintech (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Blockchain Strategy, AI for Fintechs, and Open Banking (Saïd Business School – University of Oxford), as well as AI for Leaders (McCombs School of Business – University of Texas).

With over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, including international roles, he is currently Director of Digital Transformation at Montepio Crédito, where he leads and coordinates digital transformation projects.

He has founded several technology-focused companies, each with distinct purposes aimed at solving specific problems. His mission is to empower people to use new technologies in a sustainable and impactful way.
