Luis has a degree in Chemical Engineering (IST, 1986), a MBA (NOVA SBE, 1992) and a MSc in Business Administration, (NOVA SBE, 1999) with a thesis in “Securitization of Credit”. He is certified by TOCICO (Theory of Constraints International Certification Organization), UK 2012

He has an extensive industrial experience, more than 30 years in Automotive (OEM manufacturing, 7 years) on R&D, processes and quality as a manager; Food Industry, as Quality Director (15 years) and Operations Director (10 years) responsible for all Industrial Operations.

He works as consultant in industrial and service companies since 2007 in TOC and TLS (TOC, Lean, Sixsigma), since 2017 as an independent consultant and joined Goldratt Consulting in  2018 as an associate. He has been teaching TOC since 2006 at IPL and IST, in SixSigma BB and LeanSixSigma BB courses. He created with CLT Services, the only online MBA course in TOC in Portugal since 2016.

He is co-author of ToC papers published  internationally, and co-author of eight books on TOC topics; Decision Making / Operations / Projects /Distribution, including an adaptation of “The Goal”, Eli Goldratt’s TOC Best Seller.
