With over 20 years of experience at Mercer, Constan\u00e7a leads the Global Business Services (GBS \u2013 Global Service Delivery) team in Portugal, comprising around 400 colleagues who provide a wide range of services to the Wealth business \u2014 including actuarial, investments, OCIO, and sales support \u2014 across 13 countries.<\/p>\n
Since January 2024, Constan\u00e7a has also served as Regional Capability Leader for the UK, Europe, and LATAM, representing the global hubs across the three lines of business, aligning strategy, and supporting business growth in these regions.<\/p>\n
Constan\u00e7a was part of the launch and implementation of Mercer\u2019s Global Business Services in Portugal in 2004. Since then, the team has grown significantly in size, scope, and geographic reach \u2014 evolving from a process-based model to an end-to-end, client-centric partnership, including client-facing teams. She has been deeply involved in transition and transformation projects for the Wealth business, creating and leading new teams in Portugal and collaborating closely with local leadership in each country. In recent years, her work has expanded across all three Mercer business lines, particularly in location strategy, transformation, and rightshoring initiatives.<\/p>\n
Constan\u00e7a began her professional career with an actuarial analyst internship at Mercer in 2003. She left briefly to work for a year at a Portuguese investment bank before returning to Mercer in 2006.<\/p>\n
