With a background in environmental sciences, Pedro hold a MsC in Environmental Engineering from University of Aveiro. Pedro has worked as a researcher in environmental economy (University of Aveiro) and as a trainee in the environmental department in the public sector, where he developed an environmental education program. Following that, he became an environmental advisor in a multinational company in the plastic and metal packaging sector and before joining IRIS he worked in costumer support for an American company in the mobile technologies sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Throughout the years Pedro has played a key role in promoting, developing, and mentoring IRIS acceleration programme \u2013 R2 Value, assisting scientists in developing their business models, also providing mentoring in the Emporia4kt project as well as an invited professor at the Entrepreneurship Course at NOVA FCT, for the past 4 editions.
